ตามที่คุณบัญชา ลีลาเกื้อกูล ได้สิ้นสุดวาระการดำรงตำแหน่งผู้อำนวยการ แอมเนสตี้ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ประเทศไทย อย่างเป็นทางการ ตั้งแต่วันที่ 1 กันยายน พ.ศ. 2568
ทั้งนี้ องค์กรจะดำเนินการสรรหาผู้อำนวยการคนใหม่ เพื่อให้ได้บุคคลที่มีความสามารถในการขับเคลื่อนภารกิจของแอมเนสตี้ ประเทศไทยต่อไป
ในระหว่างช่วงเวลาของการสรรหา คณะกรรมการแอมเนสตี้ อินเตอร์เนชั่นแนล ประเทศไทย ได้มอบหมายให้ทีมผู้บริหารระดับสูง (Senior Management Team – SMT) ซึ่งประกอบด้วยผู้จัดการที่มาจากทุกฝ่าย ร่วมกันทำหน้าที่รักษาการแทนผู้อำนวยการ เพื่อให้การดำเนินงานขององค์กรเป็นไปอย่างต่อเนื่อง ภายใต้หลักการธรรมาภิบาลและความร่วมรับผิดชอบ โดยให้ความสำคัญกับการสื่อสารและประสานงานกับคณะกรรมการ เจ้าหน้าที่และผู้สนับสนุน เพื่อให้การตัดสินใจและการดำเนินงานขององค์กรบรรลุเป้าหมายตามที่ตั้งไว้
โดยองค์กรจะแจ้งความคืบหน้าเกี่ยวกับกระบวนการสรรหาผู้อำนวยการให้ทราบต่อไป

Appointment of the Senior Management Team (SMT) as Interim Joint Management Body of Amnesty International Thailand
Mr. Bancha Leelaguagoon has officially concluded his tenure as Executive Director of Amnesty International Thailand, effective 1 September 2025.
The organization will conduct a systematic and transparent recruitment process to appoint a new Executive Director who will lead Amnesty International Thailand in advancing its mission to uphold and protect human rights.
During this transition period, the Board of Amnesty International Thailand has entrusted the Senior Management Team (SMT)—comprising managers from all departments—to collectively serve as the Interim Joint Management Body. This arrangement ensures the continuity of the organization’s operations under the principles of good governance and accountability, with strong emphasis on communication and collaboration between the Board, staff, and supporters, so that decision-making and activities remain aligned with the organization’s objectives.
The organization will keep all stakeholders informed of the progress regarding the recruitment of the new Executive Director.
