Amnesty Condemns the Blast at Mongkut Klao Hospital

Amnesty gave a statement condemning the blast at Mongkut Klao Hospital and emphasized that the hospital had to be the zone free from every form of conflict.

Amnesty International condemned the blast at Mongkut Klao Hospital injuring more than 20 individuals yesterday (22nd May 2017). The hospital attack was the cruelest act since the hospital is the safety zone which must be protected from any form of conflict or attack according to the international law. Amnesty stated that this violent incident had to be investigated with transparency and neutrality. The insurgents or those responsible for such act had to be brought into the justice system which is fair, respects human rights and is in accordance with the international commitments of Thailand.
