Job Role

Role Overview: The Growth & Acquisition Officer is mainly responsible for developing and executing digital marketing and communication strategies, focusing on managing Amnesty International Thailand's supporter database. This role involves optimizing the online store, coordinating product communication, and maintaining a dynamic social media presence. The role includes driving sales promotions and ensuring customer satisfaction through social media channels. Collaboration on E-commerce projects supports the overarching goals of increasing members, supporters, and fundraising for the Growth Mobilization department.


Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities: 
Content design and management

  • Design and develop online store content, product feeds (images and content), and landing pages, especially during campaigns and promotions, across social media channels and marketplaces, to optimize Amnesty's merchandise impact. 
  • Plan and create targeted content related to products for effective communication. 
  • Generate content on social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, Line, and Instagram) for the Growth Mobilization department, ensuring continuous updates. · Manage and execute content, promotions, and updates on various social media and marketplace sales channels. 
  • Monitor and assess content performance using Analytics to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Produce creative public relations media (infographics, short videos, images) for online and offline promotion.

Sales promotion and management

  • Drive sales promotions across various social media channels to enhance AITH’s visibility.
  • Manage customer service and satisfaction, addressing queries and resolving issues on social media sales channels. 
  • Maintain accurate product stock records, support shipping logistics, and optimize sales processes to maximize online sales. 
  • Collaborate on E-commerce projects, including initiatives with Partner Shops and Friend Shops. 
  • Contribute to the development of communication strategies for product buyers (E-mail Marketing) to drive repeat purchases and provide support in other formats (Supporter Journey).


  • Design and optimize online channels to enhance the effectiveness of Amnesty's merchandise.
  • Coordinate, manage, and grow our affiliate and influencer marketing

Support and collaboration

  • Collaborate with the Growth Mobilization Manager to devise digital marketing plans, sales promotion, and promotional campaigns aligned with AITH’s goals and identity.
  • Provide support for promotional booth activities and design materials for the Growth Mobilization department.
  • Plan, direct, implement, and assess operations within the Membership and Fundraising department, focusing on assigned responsibilities.
  • Assist in various tasks as needed by the Director, Department Head, and colleagues, both within and outside the department.


Person Specification

Education & certifications:  Bachelor’s degree in a field related to digital communications, marketing, economics, business administration, or social sciences. 

Essential experience 

  • Experience in online marketing and merchandising.

Essential knowledge

  • Basic understanding of human rights issues.
  • Knowledge of developing and executing digital marketing programs/templates (i.e., Lean Canvas, SEO, social media, content marketing, and campaign management).
  • Understanding of online marketing principles.

Essential skills and abilities

  • Proven coordinating and project management skills involving various stakeholders (e.g., influencers and suppliers).
  • IT skills and preferably proficiency in graphic designing and email marketing tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Mailchimp).
  • Content development and copywriting skills.
  • Computer proficiency such as Microsoft Office, Google Workspace
  • Fluency in both English and Thai with excellent written communication skills.
  • Sound understanding of human rights.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate creative initiatives with strategic thinking.
  • Ability to work well on multiple tasks under pressure.
